I was cleaning out my files just now and found something I wrote in a Word document, dated January 7, 2010. I remember that day vaguely… it was sometime during this year’s annual prayer and fasting that the church I belong to undergoes. As is usually my practice, I pray to God to reveal to me what He would like for me to pray for and hope for during the year. It’s usually a bunch of small things and then one big thing. In the course of my praying about it, realizing it, battling with it and finally accepting it, I had written this thing down and promptly forgot about it.

I’m reading it now and laughing my guts out. God is so funny and ironic and surprising and annoying at the same time. Seriously.
