In grade school, it was PatMal (to make the distinction between me and another Patricia in class). In college, it was Pat. I never called myself Patti until my stint in radio - Patricia was thought too long to say in a snappy way. So Patti it was and Patti it stayed.

Apart from the almost seven years I spent on air, I’ve dabbled in advertising, PR, events, writing, art and music. But now am focusing my energies on Pinwheel, a small company I began in 2011. We’re a boutique agency handling PR, social media and events for a few brands while continuing to maintain roving galleries in various restaurants all over the metro.

I haven’t quite figured out everything yet, I think. But I do believe life’s too short to play it safe. And no, I don’t think anyone can ever be really sure of anything. But if you have faith, you’ll have all you’ll ever need.
